Major Conectps of Freedom From Smoking®
The program format encourages individuals to work on the process of quitting smoking while in a group setting. Smoking is a very social expeiance so why should the process of quitting be any diffrent?
Facilitators
The LHS program facilitator has the responsibility of conduting the clinic. He or she will introduce various techniques that will from their health and counseling experiance. All of the LHS program facilitators have vast experiance in healthcare and counseling settings which allows for each participant to have access to the best facilitators avalible.
Size & Clinic Locations
A Freedom From Smoking® clinic whith 5 to 16 participants is best. This size range allows for a variety of personalities, as well as strong support. While our facilitators will hold a class in any location we find hit helpful to have the clinic at an employeer's location or at a neutral site (hotel confrence room). If possible, we choose a location that is easily accessible with a room large enough for 16 people to sit in a "u" shapped formation. The room should also include some form of A/V equipment since some video dicussion is also used during some clinic sessions.
Pre-Registration
A nonrefundable registration fee is recommended for each clinic participant. This fee helps LHS pruchase the needed material for each participant while also keeping each participant serious about their decision to enter this very successful clinic.
