The Heartsaver classes are a 100% classroom training, which means students are with an AHA instructor for their entire learning experience. The American Heart Association Heartsaver classes are meant for anyone with little to no medical training, for anyone who needs a CPR and/or First Aid completion card for their employer, and is not meant for anyone needing a healthcare level CPR certification.

A Heartsaver learner receives a course completion card, valid for 2 years, upon successful completion of the core content. The Heartsaver classes are video driven, instructor led, classes which feature highly interactive and hands-on coaching. Simply put our instructors don’t just simply cover content but they help build your confidence and knowledge in CPR and First Aid.

Meet OSHA regulations and course covers first aid basics, consisting of the most common life-threatening emergencies, how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills until help arrives. This course is perfect for any community member, childcare provider, civic group, church members, and non-healthcare oriented industry professionals. Heartsaver First Aid classes takes about 2.5 hours and costs between $85-125 depending upon location.

Heartsaver CPR AED CPR AED Class

This dynamic hands on class will help for feel confident to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until more advanced care arrives to take over. The course also covers adult choking and naloxone administration. This course is perfect for any community member, childcare provider, new mom/dad, civic group, church members, and non-healthcare oriented industry professionals. Heartsaver CPR and AED classes takes about 3.5 hours and costs between $95-125 depending upon location.

About the PALS Class Option

The PALS Initial class is a two day class dedicated to new PALS learners (or those expired), while the PALS Renewal class is a fast paced 8 hour refresher class. Common learners who attend a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course include physicians, nurses, paramedics, and other licensed independent healthcare providers who need a PALS certification.

This is a 4.5 hour class and is a 100% classroom training, which means students are with an AHA instructor for their entire learning experience. The BLS Provider class uses a DVD to enhanced practice while you watch sessions which help learners merge physical skills with course content. The BLS Provider content is designed for individuals who work or who will work in the healthcare field and need a certification in BLS CPR. Please note the BLS Renewal Class and the class formally known as BLS for Healthcare Providers have been phased out by the AHA and replaced by a single class called BLS Provider.

Common learners who attend a BLS Provider class include dental hygienists, nursing assistants, nurses,  nursing students, paramedics, EMTs, physicians, dentists, surgical techs, social workers, radiology staff, home healthcare staff, physical therapists, medical transport staff, and many more.

Registration Fee Ranges: $50-$100 per person depending on course location
